Pleasantville Provisions is hiring a VP of Innovation to rebuild our innovation function and pipeline after a decade of low-risk, in-category launches.
The mandate
The board and CEO have committed to investing meaningfully in adjacent-category innovation over the next three years. The VP of Innovation will own the strategy, the pipeline, and the team.
You will
- Set the innovation strategy and pipeline.
- Lead a team of 9 across food science, consumer insights, and project management.
- Partner closely with the marketing, sales, and operations teams on commercialization.
- Report to the President.
You should have
- Twelve plus years in CPG innovation.
- A clear track record of launching genuinely new platforms (not just line extensions).
- Comfort working inside an established culture that is trying to change its own habits.
