How is this different from careersinfood and the big job boards?
Careersinfood lists everything. We list very little, on purpose. They have 12,000 active jobs across every level and function. We carry a few hundred a year, all director-and-above, all hand-reviewed, all with editorial context.
Use them for breadth. Use us for signal.
How does curation work?
Every listing on the board is read by a human before it goes live. We add a one-line editorial note that explains what the role actually is, why it is open, and what the hire will have authority over.
For roles submitted by employers, we apply a basic acceptance test: director level or above, CPG or food and beverage, real company, complete description, no contingency recruiters. Roughly a third of submissions get listed as-is. Another third get listed after we ask for more detail. The rest we decline.
What happens after I submit a job?
You will get a confirmation email immediately. We review submissions within two business days.
If it fits the board, we list it free and email you the link. If we have follow-up questions, we will send them. If it is not a fit, we will explain why so you know whether to revise or try elsewhere.
What is HAP and why is it mentioned everywhere?
HAP is High Altitude Partners, a retained executive search firm focused on CPG and food and beverage. The same people who run HAP built this board.
The board is editorially independent. You do not need to know HAP to use it. You do not apply through HAP. HAP does not see candidate applications.
We mention HAP in four specific places: the footer, the about page, the bottom of each job page (for employers who want a retained search instead of a listing), and as a small badge on featured listings. That is the entire integration.
How long do listings stay live?
Sixty days from the date the listing goes live. Featured listings also stay for sixty days, with the featured slot for the full period.
We email employers a week before the listing expires. Renewing is the same flow as posting.
What is the refund policy?
Paid listings are non-refundable once they go live. If something breaks on our end (a listing does not appear, the page errors, the wrong information was published), email us and we will fix it or refund.
If a role is filled before the sixty days end, we will gladly mark it as filled but we do not refund the unused time.
Can I take a listing down?
Yes. Email andy@highaltitudepartners.com and we will remove it within one business day. No questions asked.
Do you have a candidate newsletter?
Yes. One short email on Friday. The most interesting leadership roles posted that week, with editorial context. Sign up in the footer.
