Marigold & Oak is hiring a VP of Operations to lead the transition from co-packed production to in-house manufacturing over the next 18 to 24 months.
Where we are
- Two co-packers, three SKUs (with two more in the launch queue).
- Primary channels: natural grocery, Amazon, DTC.
- Building toward conventional grocery distribution in 2027.
You will
- Scope, source, and stand up an in-house production facility.
- Maintain co-packing relationships through the transition.
- Own quality, food safety, and supply planning.
- Build a team of 8 to 12 over two years.
You should have
- Direct experience taking a small CPG brand from co-packing to owned production, preferably in baby food, jarred goods, or shelf-stable wet pack.
- Strong food safety and regulatory grounding.
- Patience for a 24-month build.
