This week on the board, July 30

July 31, 2026 · 2 min read · By Andy at CPG Careers

Happy Friday. This week's board leans heavily operations and supply chain, with a strong batch out of Kettle & Fire and a few meaty roles at larger meat and foodservice players. If you build things, buy things, or move things through a plant, there's a lot to look at.

Senior Co-Manufacturing Manager at Kettle & Fire. Location flexible. Kettle & Fire runs a co-man heavy model, so this role effectively owns the production side of the business. If you've managed external manufacturing partners at a growth-stage brand, this is a real seat.

Manufacturing Engineer at Kettle & Fire. Lancaster, PA. Plant-side counterpart to the role above, focused on process improvement and line performance at their owned facility. Good fit for someone who wants hands-on engineering work at a brand still scaling.

Operations Manager at Golden State Foods. Miami, FL. GSF is one of the largest diversified suppliers to the foodservice industry, and their ops manager roles carry real P&L exposure. A solid step for someone ready to run a facility.

Director, Strategic Sourcing at Smithfield Foods. Smithfield, VA. Senior sourcing role at one of the largest protein companies in the country. If you have a category management background in ingredients, packaging, or MRO at scale, this is worth a look.

C.H. Guenther posted a strong slate this week across three plants. Worth a look if you know the bakery and prepared foods manufacturing world: Continuous Improvement Manager in Duncanville, Material Coordinator in Carlstadt, and EHS Manager in Prosperity. Tyson also opened a Cut-Up Ossid Lead role on 1st shift in Temperanceville, VA for anyone in poultry processing.

Quick reminder: we are still building out a few retained sales searches. If you come from a CPG sales background, send me your resume at andy@highaltitudepartners.com.
