Aviary closed its Series A in February 2026 and is now hiring a Head of Supply Chain to take the operation from beta production to commercial scale.
You will
- Stand up the end-to-end supply chain: sourcing, co-manufacturing, warehousing, fulfillment.
- Negotiate with co-packers and ingredient suppliers from a blank sheet of paper.
- Hire two to three direct reports in year one.
- Sit on the leadership team alongside the founder, head of R&D, and head of commercial.
You should have
- Operator-level supply chain experience inside a plant-based, fermentation, or precision protein company that has scaled past $20M in revenue.
- A track record of standing up new co-manufacturing relationships, not just managing inherited ones.
- Comfort working in an early-stage environment where the answer to most questions is 'we will figure that out together'.
